Greg Cunningham, Trustee
Show/Hide Details
Greg started his career as a probation officer in Bath, in the very offices that BADAS now operates in Broad Street. Greg then left Bath for over 20 years and went on to work for a voluntary sector organisation supporting members of the nursing profession who were at risk of being struck off many due to the harmful effects of drug and alcohol misuse. Since arriving back in Bath Greg has now signed up as a trustee of BADAS. He remarks that our strapline “Reducing harm, supporting change” – is a laudable objective and an onerous responsibility for everyone. The trustees have responsibility for ensuring effective and responsible governance of BADAS so that it can account for its work and make sure it is properly equipped to carry it out now and in the foreseeable future. The trustees come from a wide range of backgrounds and bring different skills and experience to contribute to the particular responsibilities they have for BADAS. I have a lot to learn myself but hope I also bring experience that can help play a part in supporting the all important work undertaken by those of you on the ‘front line’ and those of you supporting them day in, day out.
