Why Run for BADAS?

BADAS is an independent local charity and every day we offer a wide range of services and support to individuals and communities across Bath and North East Somerset and the whole of Wilshire who are suffering from alcohol and drug problems.

The services we provide include offering advice, support and treatment to drug and alcohol users, their families and carers. We offer outreach sessions in the rural areas as well as in Bath, Westbury and Trowbridge which include group work, 1 to 1 care, needle exchange and complimentary therapies such as acupuncture and relaxation.

BADAS has secured 15 Golden Bond Charity places for the Nationwide Bath Half Marathon being held on Sunday 15th March 2009. We need YOU to sign up and race for us!

If you choose BADAS as your nominated Charity to Run for this year your commitment will be to raise at least £175.00 in sponsorship for BADAS and we will then pay for your entry to the race and provide you with a goodie bag to take home. So please put on your running shoes and sign up to join team BADAS this year!
